| This was my first attempt at a wedding cake. I had a blast decorating the cake and I also arranged their silk flowers for the bouquets and boutonnieres using the same light blue tuille. With the lack of obvious tools necessary for proper wedding cake decoration in Africa-- I improvised. With the help of Luc, we managed to make a very sturdy wedding cake stand with little more than some old wood, foil paper and toilet tank tubing. Ya, you heard me, the white plastic tube that holds up the high tank of the old fashioned toilets here in Africa. We used NEW tubing of course!!! | |||
